Privacy Policy
We believe in full transparency. Here is exactly how we handle your data — simply and honestly.
Overview
Welcome to GamepadTester (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website and use our free online gamepad testing tool.
GamepadTester is a free, browser-based tool that allows you to test your gamepad, controller, or joystick directly in your browser — no installation, no sign-up, and no account required. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our practices.

This data is used only to understand general website traffic and improve the experience for all users. It is not used to identify you personally.
What We Do NOT Collect
This is the most important section. GamepadTester is built with privacy by design. We want to be crystal clear about what we never collect:
- Gamepad or controller input data — All button presses, trigger values, joystick movements, and vibration tests happen entirely inside your browser using the HTML5 Gamepad API. None of this data is sent to our servers.
- Personal identification information — We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information.
- Account information — We do not require you to create an account or log in. There is no registration on GamepadTester.
- Payment information — GamepadTester is completely free. We do not collect credit card or payment details of any kind.
- Controller model or brand details — We do not record what type of gamepad or controller you are testing.
- Microphone or camera access — We do not request access to your microphone, camera, or any other device beyond what the browser Gamepad API requires.
