How To Use the Stick Drift Test
Simple 3-step process to test your Joystick.

Connect
Connect your gamepad via USB or Bluetooth, then press any button to activate it.

Move
Move both joysticks to see real-time response and axis tracking in the tester.

Check for Drift
Release your joystick completely and watch where the dot stops on the circular graph.
What is Stick Drift
Stick drift is when your controller’s joystick moves or registers input on its own without you touching it.
How drift shows up
Dot Moves on Its Own
When you are not touching the joystick, the dot on the screen slowly moves on its own. This means your joystick is sending movement signals even when it is sitting still.
Values Change Without Input
The X and Y axis numbers on the screen keep changing even when your joystick is untouched. A healthy joystick should show 0.00 on both axes.
Uneven Centre Position
When you release the joystick after moving it, it does not return to the exact centre. The dot stops slightly away from the middle, showing that the stick is drifting in that direction.
